ECTOPIC PREGNANCY
ECTOPIC PREGNANCY
We advise women who experience unexplained pain or bleeding in early pregnancy to seek urgent medical care to exclude the possibility of ectopic pregnancy.
Ectopic pregnancy refers to a pregnancy which is located outside of the main cavity of the womb. Because of the potential for an ectopic pregnancy to rupture and cause life-threatening bleeding (haemorrhage), all known or suspected ectopic pregnancies should be considered medical emergencies warranting immediate attention and treatment.
Our specialists at Trinity Women’s Specialists are experienced in treating all forms of ectopic pregnancy, including treatment with:
- Medical (non-surgical) treatment of ectopic pregnancy
- Minimally invasive (keyhole / laparoscopic) surgery for ectopic pregnancy
- Follow-up after ectopic pregnancy
- Early detection of ectopic pregnancy and care of future pregnancies
Your health and wellbeing is our priority. Our specialists offer same-day appointments and treatments for patients with known or suspected ectopic pregnancies. Please contact Trinity Women’s Specialists to make an early appointment.
